Darling Tennis Center Launches Blanket & Coat Drive for Street Dogz

Winter can be especially harsh for Las Vegas residents experiencing homelessness, and even more so for the pets who stay loyally by their side.

This season, Darling Tennis Center is stepping in to help, launching a Blanket & Coat Drive to support Street Dogz, a local nonprofit known for providing essential care to unhoused individuals and their animals.

From December 9 through January 4, the community is invited to donate warm, cold-weather items that offer both safety and dignity through the colder months.

Who Street Dogz Serves

Street Dogz plays a vital role in Southern Nevada’s safety net, helping people who are doing everything they can to keep their pets with them despite experiencing severe hardship.

The organization supplies food, leashes, harnesses, weather protection, and emergency support so pets can stay healthy and families can stay together.

As temperatures drop, winter gear becomes one of the most urgent needs, especially for those living outdoors or in unstable housing.

Why Darling Tennis Center Stepped Up

While best known for its courts and tournaments, Darling Tennis Center also has a long-standing commitment to serving the broader Las Vegas community.

Hosting this seasonal drive allows DTC to channel that commitment into a direct, immediate impact.

Every blanket, coat, or piece of warm clothing collected will go straight to Street Dogz outreach teams, who distribute supplies to individuals and pets who desperately need them.

How the Community Can Help

Darling Tennis Center is accepting drop-offs from December 9 through January 4.

Community members can bring new or gently used items to the main lobby at Darling Tennis Center, located at 7901 W Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89128, inside the Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex.

The center is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends, giving donors plenty of flexibility.
